I am new to Newport News, where are some good places to take my kids fishing?
I have three small kids and would like to take them fishing, where are some good public access areas around Newport News???
If you are just going to take out your kids there are free piers on the other side of the yorktown bridge by the marine conservatory. As soon as you come across the bridge turn right and make your way down to the water. You dont need a license and you can catch some good flounders and craoker and sometimes even cobia and such. Great place. I bring my wife there all the time.
