Tips For Black Hair Care

Black hair is chemically the same as other types of hair, but it has a unique physical structure that requires special hair care techniques. If you have Black hair, here are some tips to help your hair look and feel its best.

1. Avoid overwashing your hair. Straight and wavy hair tends to get oily very quickly because of its structure. This is why it has to be washed quite often. Black hair is different. It doesn't get oily quickly because of its tightly curled structure. This structure keeps sebum, the natural oil that the scalp produces, from flowing along the hair shaft in Black hair. That is why Black hair is dry, and that is why it should not be overwashed. Too much washing will cause it to dry out even further.

2. Use hair care products made specifically for Black hair. Black hair is drier and more delicate than other types of hair, and it needs lots of moisture to stay healthy. Many hair care products are designed to strip moisture out of the hair, and this is the opposite of what Black hair needs.

3. Avoid brushing your hair. Use a wide toothed comb, or your fingers, to work with your hair. Brushes can destroy Black hair by shearing it out of the scalp.

4. Avoid sleeping in hair accessories such as curlers, barrettes, scrunchies, head bands, etc. Wearing these kinds of accessories when sleeping puts unnecessary stress on the hair and can lead to hair damage.

5. Work with your hair to try and find a hairstyle that doesn't put tension on your scalp. Many Black women suffer from traction alopecia from wearing tight braids, extensions, hair pieces, hair rubbers, and wigs. If worn frequently, these will pull the hair out and cause the hairline to recede. One style that is easy to do with medium length natural Black hair is to wet the hair, gently comb it, smooth it back and gather it into a scrunchie. Just be sure to take the scrunchie out at night. Another style for natural Black hair that is short in length is to wear a soft fabric headband around the head. Match the headband fabric to the color of your outfit for a nice look.

Effective moisturizers penetrate the hair to get inside the hair shaft and provide much needed moisture. Most black hair care products deemed as moisturizing do not actually moisturize it, but add a coating to the outside of the hair. Deep condition regularly. If your conditioner regimen isn't working, try a "deep condition" once or twice a month. This involves putting a leave-in conditioner or oil on your hair and leaving it in for a while. Oils like jojoba and coconut oil are fantastic for this.Tone down the drying. If you are using a dryer or hot tongs regularly, your hair will start to show some damage--the hot air removes moisture from your hair. Using too hot a setting or holding the dryer too close to your hair will also cause damage.

Full length leather chaps are attached at the waist with the seat missing to allow contact with the saddle and the rider's legs are fully covered with the seam on the outside of the leg for comfort. Leather chaps are usually worn over denim jeans or other trousers of heavy material. They have their own belt, and usually are fitted around the hips, resting below the belt loops of the trousers. Except for chinks and armitas, which are designed to fit above the boot, most chaps are long, fitting over the boot and draping slightly over the vamp of the boot (see shoe). Some designs are cut to hang long at the heel and nearly cover the entire boot except for the toe. Batwings, chinks, and shotgun chaps fit firmly but comfortably around the thigh, with shotguns continuing to fit closely all the way down the calf, though not so snug as to limit free knee movement. The shotgun design is a bit flared at the ankle to allow for the rider's boot. Batwings and chinks are not attached around the leg below the knee.

The way that these chaps are designed is that the entire leg area is covered by the chaps. The chaps are secured around the waist in the front. You will however find that the seat of these leather chaps is not to be found.

To make wearing these leather chaps easier you will find that the sides of the chaps have zippers placed on them. This will make it easier for you to put your legs into the chaps. Black hat SEO is typically considered the "bad" kind of SEO, as it involves techniques that the search engines do not approve of. Basically, anything that goes against Google guidelines would be considered a black hat method.

Sites that employ black hat methods do so with the intent to drive a large amount of traffic to a website in a very quickly. Once discovered, however, they are banned from Google and other search engines.

Organic or natural search engine optimization would fall into the white hat category.  There are several methods of natural SEO—generally, anything on a website that legitimately benefits a web surfer will result in a higher ranking. For example, a website with relevant, updated content, that links to other related information provides great value. Other quality websites are likely to include links to that first site, directing even more traffic their way. These are all factors would increase a site's ranking in the search engines.

These are just two examples. Natural search engine optimization is both an art and a science, and these days, there are internet marketing companies that specialize in just this method. These companies use their specific knowledge and skills to work within the ever-changing guidelines to ensure that a website uses only white hat methods to move it up in the rankings. The additional benefit is that this type of optimization will almost always indirectly improve the visitor/customer's experience.  Organic SEO may take longer to achieve results, but is a legitimate, sustainable way to increase a website's ranking in the search engines.
